Extended Stay Opportunities
Amigos for
Christ offers extended stay opportunities in Nicaragua to qualified
individuals with specialized skills. Throughout the summer, we
set 4-5 periods for extended stay. Other extended
stay opportunities are also an option during other parts
of the year. We need missionaries with areas of concentration in Spanish,
medicine, environmental health, engineering, education, business,
art, sociology, or project leadership. Extended stays
can be rigorous and challenging, and we ask that participants
experience a one-week trip before staying for an
extended amount of time. We encourage interested students and other
adults to contact us about sharing their gifts with the people of
Nicaragua. If you would like to participate in summer 2008, see the

2008 summer Extended Stay trips are now full. We hope you can
join us for a 1 week trip!
Extended Stay Application Process

1. Send
application and $150 deposit to Amigos office by specified deadline.
Please send your application as soon as possible. |

2. We will
contact you about your extended stay trip (by the
specified date). |

3. When
approved, Amigos office will inform you of the flights
you need to book, forms to fill out, and other
information. |
