| Amigos for Christ sponsors
mission trips to Nicaragua throughout the year. Many of these trips
are comprised of groups dedicated to specific missionary activities.
We have hosted church groups
of different denominations, who devoted their stay to activities
such
as vacation bible school, construction of homes and community
buildings, and social service projects in area orphanages and health
clinics.
Each mission group leader
works in cooperation with the Amigos for Christ staff to plan the
trip and gather the necessary paperwork and fees. In Nicaragua, the
group leader is expected to facilitate the daily activities of the
group along with Amigos for Christ representatives.
We hope that all of our
mission groups will carry back a piece of Nicaragua in their hearts
and continue their partnership with Amigos for Christ.
