About Us:

What began as a craft project in June 2008 is now producing vital income for eight women in the rural community of Los Rotarios, located outside of Chinandega, Nicaragua.  In a country where the average income is less than $2 a day, this extra income means the difference between a hungry child and a healthy one.

Our Goals:
In Amigos' villages, women and their families
will have access to:
1. Adequate water, food, and shelter.
2. Basic health care.
3. Primary and Secondary education.
4. Micro-enterprise and jobs.
5. Art, creativity, and beauty.
