Dr. Dinorah sees a patient in a rural village, where she provides the only available medical care. The Villa Catalina Health Clinic opened in 2008 and now serves several surrounding communities. Our preventative health care program consists of community classes, called "charlas". Medical mission teams come to provide free life-changing surgeries to the poor in the St. Martin de Poress Hospital that we built in 2003. Our Mobile Medical Van visits rural communities to dispense much needed medicines and supplies. Our medical team is made up of 2 doctors, 1 pharmacist/driver, and 2 volunteer missionaries.
