The Pay it Forward Program serves 140 families. Each family recieves a cow, pig, or chickens to raise and then give their offspring to other families Our farms produce over 1200 eggs a day, which are used in our feeding centers and the rest are sold to invest in our projects. The Amigos Farm Team is researching and growing food organically. Mario Moreno, a micro loan recipient, now owns and operates a bakery that allows him to employ 4 other villagers! Several families receive micro loans to start their own small businesses. The women above invested their money into a cornmill to make tortillas. 450 plantain trees and 150 fruit trees will produce food for our feeding centers.
