We Believe in Opportunity & Growth - The Amigos for Christ Model of Development

Our dream is to offer the gift of opportunity to rural families and inspire personal growth. Our development model begins with access to at least 100 gallons of water per day per family. We continue by helping to provide medical, dental, and surgical services along with teaching basic preventative medicine to village health workers. Next, we focus on the elimination of illiteracy by constructing primary schools and then helping students continue their education through secondary and vocational school scholarships. For parents, opportunity to improve the economic situation of their family is best accomplished by low interest loans to start and grow small businesses and farms. Next, we facilitate the ownership of strong concrete and steel homes to withstand frequent earthquakes and hurricanes. Finally, we inspire personal growth through our missionary and volunteer programs. Both those that serve and those that receive are positively impacted for a lifetime.
