We host over 50 dynamic mission trips to Chinandega, Nicaragua each year. These week-long trips consist of groups from schools, churches, and even companies. The focus of our trips is to serve God by working alongside and building relationships with our Nicaraguan friends. Trip activities vary, but usually consist of construction work, community development, health clinics, spiritual programs, sports, and visiting orphanages. A Typical Mission Trip & Costs

Mission teams usually travel Saturday to Saturday, arriving to/departing from the Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua. Teams are met by Amigos for Christ staff with transportation to Chinandega (a 2-3 hour ride). Our mission trips are designed to provide a cross-cultural experience, serving alongside our Nicaraguan friends in rural communities. Amigos staff members lead morning and evening devotionals to reflect upon each day's activities and inspire personal and spiritual growth.

Typical Mission Trip Costs
The room and board fee paid to Amigos for Christ (typically $250) covers in-country transportation, meals, sleeping accomodations, insurance, and t-shirt. Sheets, towels, pillows, and purified water are also provided. For other costs associated with a mission trip, see information below.
