Small Business Opportunities

We offer families a hand up with small amount/low interest loans using the successful Nobel Prize winning Grameen Bank model.  Our Pay it Forward animal program facilitates ownership of cows, pigs, and chickens to rural families.  They will provide food and income to the receiving family and produce offspring that will be paid forward to benefit another family.

   

This rural family is nourished by the milk they receive from the cow they were given through the Pay it Forward Program.  When their calf is old enough, they will bless another family with the same gift.

 

The opportunity to own a small business is changing lives in several of our communities. Through micro-loans, Mario of Villa Catalina started his own backyard bakery, and now employs several community members.

Bead Amigas is a social enterprise started in the community of Los Rotarios.  8 women in this local community make beautiful jewelry out of paper, which enables them to support their families and employ other women in the community.  Learn more about Bead Amigas!

 

 

We operate 2 farms in Chinandega, Nicaragua where we produce crops to sell as well as feed the children that we serve at our feeding centers.
